Africa Safari South Serengeti
Perfectly situated within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with convenient access to the Crater, and on the south side of Lake Ndutu, just outside the Serengeti National Park. This is truly the best of both worlds!
Relax in style in a beautiful environment close to Lake Ndutu
This area is famous for the calving season of the Great Migration, an absolute highlight of the annual wildebeest migration. The short rains in November and December create nutrient-rich pastures for the wildebeest, which remain in the vicinity until the end of the long rains and most calves are born in January and February. Whilst the open grassy plains offer them some safety, these young wildebeest attract hungry predators, such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas. The area around Lake Ndutu is also famous for being home to 6 species of big cats (lion, cheetah, leopard, serval, African wild cat, and caracal) which are present throughout the year.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area
(NCA/NCAA)
The NCAA is constantly seeking a balance between nature, people and animals. Slowly the choice is made for wildlife and nature conservation. The increase in the number of visitors to the Crater itself is being regulated and measures are being taken to curb human and cattle population growth in this area. Unfortunately, poaching attempts will continue, but efforts are being made to tackle this. Improving infrastructure and caring for wildlife are the key points.
