In northern Tanzania, within the Great Rift Valley, near Lake Natron and the border of Kenya. It lies approximately 100 kilometres (62 miles) north of Arusha, Tanzania.
When is the best time to visit?

All year around! There are many activities available throughout the year at Lake Naron although you have the best chance of seeing flamingos between July and September.

The green season between March to May can make the ascent to Ol Doinyo Lengai slippery.
Can I swim in Lake Natron?
