Africa Safari Karatu

A truly great accommodation. The journey is absolutely worth it. The rooms are large, beautiful, and very comfortable, with a stunning view over the landscape. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good lunch boxes and early breakfast available from 6:00. Perfect location between the national parks. 

During our 5-day safari with Beach Safari, we stayed one night in a luxury room at Africa Safari Karatu. The room was very spacious with beautiful décor, a large shower, separate toilet, two sinks, and a very comfortable bed.

The balcony view was absolutely breathtaking. The lodge has two lovely pools with comfortable sun loungers. Both dinner and breakfast buffet were very good, and freshly made omelets are available on request. The staff were always smiling, kind, and very helpful. A highly recommended safari stop.

Amazing place with very friendly staff, good food, and clean rooms. The receptionist was especially kind. A perfect place to relax after a safari. The pool and new buildings look very nice. 

Excellent hospitality and amazing service from all staff—from reception to chefs, bar staff, and housekeeping. We really enjoyed our stay at Africa Safari Karatu Lodge. Thank you to the whole team.

A beautiful hotel with breathtaking views and very clean rooms. The food was excellent and the atmosphere very relaxing. We loved the lounge area and the two pool sections. Bathrooms had great water pressure and hot water. A highly recommended stay. 

We can’t recommend this place highly enough. The location is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are the real highlight. Everyone was extremely friendly and attentive, especially with our children. They even allowed evening swimming and took great care of us throughout our stay. We would definitely return. 

We stayed two nights at Africa Safari Karatu and everything was excellent. The rooms are modern and comfortable, especially in the new building. The buffet breakfast and dinner were very tasty with local dishes. The view over the Karatu hills is amazing. A perfect location for visiting Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro. 

We stayed four nights and tried both comfort and luxury rooms. Both were very nice, although we preferred the atmosphere of the comfort rooms. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. A very good experience overall and highly recommended. 

Great accommodation with beautiful interiors and amazing views over the hills. The pool and dining area offer spectacular scenery. The service was excellent, and a special thanks to Joseph, who made every meal service perfect. A wonderful stay. 

A magical stay. Watching the sunset from my terrace while enjoying a cup of Kilimanjaro tea was unforgettable. The room was very comfortable and well maintained. Daily housekeeping was excellent, and the staff were always attentive and friendly.

We also had an incredible full-day safari to Ngorongoro Crater, seeing lions, elephants, zebras, buffalo, giraffes, hyenas, hippos, and many more animals. A truly extraordinary experience.
