Shaba Boutique Hotel

A very nice place with kind and attentive staff. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety. I would definitely stay here again.

A really charming boutique hotel in a fantastic central location near the market, right in the heart of Stone Town. The hotel is set in a beautiful old merchant house, which gives it a lot of character and atmosphere. Great service and a lovely breakfast. Perfect for exploring old Zanzibar.

We stayed one night at this lovely hotel in the narrow streets of Stone Town. The traditional wooden décor gives the place a very authentic and charming feel. Our room had a beautiful four-poster bed, mosquito net, and safe. The en-suite bathroom was clean and modern in a wet-room style.

WiFi worked well, and drinking water is available in the common area. Staff were very friendly and even escorted us to a nearby restaurant when needed.

Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, omelets, pastries, coffee, juices, and more. A very enjoyable stay overall.

A lovely boutique hotel located in a lively street full of small shops, close to all main attractions. The property is beautifully decorated in a traditional style. Cleanliness is perfect, and the staff are very kind and welcoming, making you feel at home. A very pleasant stay overall.

Rooms are a bit compact, but well maintained. Staff are always helpful with luggage and directions. A great choice for exploring the city.

The mattress was very comfortable, and the ensuite bathroom was modern. Breakfast was outstanding with a wide selection of fresh options. Highly recommended. 

A beautiful riad-style hotel in the heart of Stone Town. The room was lovely, clean, and well equipped with air conditioning. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and the welcome was very warm. A perfect base to explore the city on foot.

We were warmly welcomed here after a last-minute change of plans, and the staff made everything so easy for us. The hotel is beautifully decorated, and the rooms are spacious with balconies overlooking Stone Town rooftops. Beds were very comfortable, and the location is perfect for walking everywhere. Breakfast was excellent. Great value and highly recommended.
