Africa Safari Lake Natron

Staying at Africa Safari Lake Natron was nothing short of magical. The lodge’s location by the lake offers breathtaking scenery, with dramatic mountains and flamingos completing the picture. The accommodations were comfortable and well maintained, providing a peaceful retreat after exploring the area. The staff were kind, knowledgeable, and eager to share insights about the unique ecosystem. Dining was fresh and satisfying, and the atmosphere was both adventurous and relaxing. A must-visit destination for anyone seeking a blend of nature and culture. 

We were warmly welcomed with a cool towel and a hibiscus drink. The accommodation consists of both rooms in solid buildings and tented units. We stayed in a semi-detached bungalow with air conditioning, a safe, and a flashlight, as the open setting requires awareness of wildlife. Everything was clean with a fairly simple standard.

The pool is very beautiful and very refreshing after a long drive.

By far the best choice when staying at Lake Natron. The restaurant is very cozy, and the staff are extremely friendly. Although we lost a deck chair on our first night and it was not repaired, this is only a minor detail. The tents are comfortable, and the views are unbeatable. The pool offers a volcano view—what more could you ask for? 

The lodge is beautifully located by the lake, with views toward Kenya and right at the foot of Ol Doinyo Lengai, the “Mountain of God,” an active volcano. We went on a morning walk to the lake with a local Maasai guide and saw large flocks of flamingos. In the afternoon, we visited the Ngare Sero waterfalls, reached by crossing the river several times—an unforgettable and refreshing experience.

For those interested, a guided night climb of the volcano is also possible, taking about six hours of challenging hiking. We truly enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable throughout.

We had a wonderful time at Africa Safari Lake Natron Camping. The landscape is stunning, and we could enjoy a fantastic view of the lake right from our tent. Among all the camps we visited, this one had by far the best food. The staff were amazing, including Maasai warriors who help ensure safety from wildlife. Special thanks to Abby, who took great care of us from early morning until evening, always smiling and making us laugh. 

Wonderful views of Lake Natron. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The staff are extremely kind and the food is delicious. The swimming pool is a dream.

A very nice place near Lake Natron with amazing views and comfortable rooms. In less than an hour, you can see large groups of flamingos and pelicans. The staff are very friendly and attentive to all guests. We would recommend it to all visitors. A truly wonderful experience. 

This location was fabulous! The rooms were excellent, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. After dinner, the team prepared songs and dances to entertain and welcome us to Natron—it was wonderful and very enjoyable. All the staff were great, but a young man named Alex was especially helpful in assisting me to my room. Make sure to say hi to him!

Very good service, happy and welcoming staff, good food, and a really nice stay in the lodges. Dinner was great, and there is also entertainment and Wi-Fi available. An easy and relaxing stay overall. Waking up in nature feels amazing, followed by a nice breakfast and very helpful people.
